This class is for puppies between 5-24 months of age who may have missed out on critical socialization during their first four, formative months of life. It's also appropriate for especially sensitive puppies who struggled with socialization, puppies whose early experiences before they left their litters were less-than-ideal, and puppies who have some extra big feelings due to their breed or developmental stage. 

If your puppy tends to be either overly excited or timid in new places, this is definitely the class for you!

Please note that this class is not appropriate for puppies who have bitten or threatened to bite people or other dogs, or for puppies who are so worried in new places that they're unable to eat food. We recommend starting with Private Training lessons for these puppies, so that we can work with you one-on-one to build your puppy's confidence without overwhelming them. 

Using games and reward-based training, we'll work on getting and keeping your puppy's attention, walking nicely on leash, settling in new places, and greeting others nicely. We recommend taking this class prior to our Beginning Obedience manners course in order to see the best results!
