Help Train the Trainer's Dog.

Dog trainers' dogs are often like the cobbler's kids who go barefoot. We're so busy teaching other people's dogs that our own pups sometimes get left behind.

This class aims to fix that issue! Class will meet once a week for an hour each time, just like regular classes. Unlike a regular training class, however, your trainer will also be working his or her own dog.

What to expect in this class: expect a supportive, collaborative, positive training space where you can continue to build your dog's skills. Expect that you'll get the chance to work with your dog around new people and dogs away from home, and that you'll be part of an upbeat and positive group. Expect lots of sharing of ideas, stories, and brags!

What not to expect in this class: class is quite a bit less expensive than our regular training classes for a reason. While the trainer will provide tips and advice as he or she is able, their focus will also be on working their own dog. If you are looking for focused attention or help with a specific problem, this is not the class for you.

Note: Each "Help Train the Trainer's Dog" class session will have a unique focus based on specific skills that the lead trainer hopes to build with their dog. Please see the individual class description for more information on the focus of the class.
